Much like many other social network sites your profile is personal to you and can be customised with profile pictures, galleries and videos, as well as displaying your cars, friends, teams and events.

Customise your profile

To customise your profile simply click on "edit profile" on your home screen. You will see your edit profile page, from here you can use the buttons to add content to each section of your profile. To preview your profile click the "View profile" button in the top right. You will also find your account settings option here, which is also in the left navigation of your homepage.

Privacy

The accounts settings section (found in the navigation on the left) allows you to choose which content of your profile other members (who arent friends) can see. If you want to make your profile viewable to only those you are friends with, check the "Set your profile to private" option.

You can also stop other members (who arent your friends) emailing you, to do this go to your account settings page and uncheck the "Allow all messages" option. From that point only friends can message you.

We have recently added an events calendar to the site which allows you and other users to add upcoming events to share with the community.

To access the events calendar simply click on "Events" in the top navigation or "Events Calendar" on the navigation on the left.

View events

Beneath the calendar you will find 2 columns, "Events this month" and "Events next month", Use these sections to quickly see the upcoming events.

Alternatively, if your event is more than a month away, navigate through the months on the calendar by pressing the arrow buttons in the top section of the calendar.

There are also options for "Day" "Week" and "Month" in the top section of the calendar. If a day contains multiple events and you want to see a full list, double click on the day. Alternatively, single click on the day (so that it is selected) and press the "Day" button in the top section. This will show you a list of the events for that day, clicking any of these will take you to the events page.

Add an event

As a user you can also add an event to the calendar. To do this go to the events calendar page, click on the "Add an event option", complete the form making sure your times and dates are accurate, and click the "add event" button. You will then be asked to add a profile picture for the event, we recommend to use a flyer if you have one, if not then add something else or leave it blank. Once a picture has been added you will be given a series of options.

On both your home screen and also the top navigation you will find an "Inbox" option, this is your personal message box where your recieved messages will appear.

Send a message

To send a message to another user either search for that user using the search function or view that users profile and click the "Send message" button in the top right.

Please note that some users will have privacy settings in place to prevent users not known to them from sending them messages.

Once you have clicked on the "Send message" button you will be taken to the compose message page, simply enter a subject and your message and click send.

Reading your messages

Once you have logged in the updates box on your homepage will tell you how many new messages and friend requests you have, as well as the total number of messages in your inbox.

You can either:

• Click the Inbox link in the top navigation
• Click the Inbox option on your home screen
• Or click on the update panel where the link says "You have n new message(s), and n total messages"

Reply to a message

To reply to a message, go to your Inbox using one of the options described above, click on a recieved message. Underneath the message contents you will find a section titled "Reply", simply write your reply into this section and hit "Send reply".

Add a new gallery

There are a number of way to add a new gallery to your profile:

• Click on the galleries option in the top navigation, and click the "+ Add new gallery option"
• From your home screen click the "Add Gallery" button, then the "+ Add new gallery option" on the next screen
• From your edit profile page, go to the "Galleries" section of your profile and click the "+ Add new gallery" button.

Each of the above methods will take you to the same screen.

On the page titled "Create new gallery" enter the Gallery title and Gallery description and click "+ Create Gallery".

The next page will allow you to alter the gallery details and upload new photos to the newly created gallery. Once you have added a photo(s) to the gallery a thumbnail will appear in the "Edit photos" section of that page. This allows you to delete any unwanted photos.

When you have finished uploading your photos to the new gallery you can navigate away from this page using any of the top navigation or left navigation buttons or by clicking "Back to profile" at the bottom of the page.

Edit a gallery

To edit an existing gallery click on the "Galleries" option in the top navigation. You will be taken to a page which lists your current galleries, simply click the "Edit" button to the right of the gallery name you wish to edit. The next page is similar to the one that you used to upload your photos, from here you can edit the gallery title, description, delete and add photos.

Delete a gallery

There are 2 ways to delete a gallery from your profile:

• Click on the "Galleries" option in the top navigation and click the "Delete" button next to the gallery you would like to remove.
• Go to your "manage profile" page, navigate to the Galleries section, click the delete option to the right of the gallery you would like to remove.

You can add videos from YouTube or Vimeo to your profile.

Add a video

There are two ways to add a video to your profile:

• Click on the "Videos" option in the top navigation, enter the video descripion and the url (web address - http://www.youtube.com/xxxxxxxx) and click "Add video"
• From your manage profile page, navigate to the "Your videos" section, enter the video descripion and the url (web address - http://www.youtube.com/xxxxxxxx) and click "Add video"

Delete a video

To delete a video from your profile click the "Videos" option in the top navigation, you will see a list of videos you have added. To delete one (or several) click the "Delete" option to the right of the video name.

Much like any other community website we allow users to become friends with other users.

Find friends

To find friends click on the "Search" option in the top navigation. There are 3 criteria to help you search:

• Car - Find friends with specific cars.
• Name - Use your friends name to search for them.
• Location - Find other users in a specific location.

If you would like to see a list of all users click the "Click here to retrieve all users" button. You can also not select an option from the dropdown list and search for any term, name, make, model, location and you will still be presented with matching results.

Add a friend

Once you have performed the search and found the user you were looking for, click on there username. You will be taken to that users personal profile, once there click the "Add friend" button in the top right corner of the page.

We have added a global discussion board where you can engage in a discussion with other members. This board is for everyone so you dont need to be friends with the other users to see and comment on their posts.

Please be respectful when using the discussion board, we allow all users to report comments posted by other users.

If you are a member of any kind of team (drift team, racing team, tuning team etc...), take part in motorsport for a sponsor team, or are a member of a forum or owners club, you can add the details into a teams page. Add a bit about your team, any shows or events your team will all be attending or competing in, and keep people informed in what you have coming up!.

To create your team page:

• Click on "Teams" in the top navigation
• Click the "Create Team" button
• Enter your team name, description and some information about your team and click "save team"
• Add a profile picture for your team page on the next screen
• Once you have uploaded your picture you will be taken to your "edit team" page
