The idea for JDMLegion.com began in September 2008 when we wanted to bring all the information from tuning and club forums into one place.
We were very aware that forums, while still very useful lacked the user experience of more modern web communications and social platforms.
So by November 2008 we began working on JDMLegion.com. At JDMLegion.com we won't push a certain brand of tyre or turbo onto you, there is no brand favouritism here.
While developing this site for our users we still went to work, 9 till 5 every day, and we still do! JDMLegion.com isn't owned by a company, has no investors and no external entity influencing the site.
One of the most important ideas we had was to allow the user the opportunity to decide what new features are added to JDMLegion.com! If you think an events calendar will help (for example), then we will build one! (and we just have!)
We understand that most websites are controlled by 1 boss, in his nice chair, ordering his staff to build a website based on his/her personal preference. We've seen this many times, and while it may work for a while, in the long run it always fails.
We are different because JDMLegion.com is ours, and based on what we and our users as a community decide.
